FAQ
Where does the app fetch routes for visualization?
Currently it only supports data available in your iPhone's Health app. Any workouts done with your Apple Watch should be available by default.
Why is my latest workout not showing?
There could be a few reasons:
- The workout may not have synced to your iPhone's Health app yet. Open the Health app and wait for it to synchronize.
- The workout may not have been recorded with a device that stores data in HealthKit. MapCut only supports HealthKit data.
Which other data sources are planned?
I'm exploring integrations with other popular fitness platforms and wearables. Stay tuned for updates.
Why can't I see my current location?
MapCut focuses on visualizing past workout routes and doesn't offer real-time location tracking. You can zoom and pan to explore different areas.
Why is the routes list empty?
There could be a few reasons:
- You may not have any workouts recorded with Apple Watch yet. Try recording a workout using the Workout app.
- The Health app may not have permission to share data with MapCut. Check the Sharing tab in the Health app to grant access.
